Down by the lake

I see life as a struggle

Not sure why

smiling faces fill me with envy

As they pass me by

I need to find a place where my spirit won’t break

So you will find me sittin’ down by the lake

I feel anxious about things that never happen

It doesn’t make sense I know

I am unsure and confused on the inside

But I don’t let it show

I need to find space ……..

Escape from the human race

Remain calm for my family’s sake

So I’m headin’ down by the lake

Sometimes I wake up

And I’m in a daze

My mind is foggy not sure where I am

Can’t seperate the the truth from fake

I need to find an escape

I reckon I’m safe sittin down by the lake

It’s funny I woke up today

Not the same as the other day

I could suddenly see life in a less foggy way

I passed smiling faces……..no fear or envy

I liked the feeling…….I was happy

Gonna start following the truth…….

Gonna block out the fake
