I know mom just read you a story,

But I have…one more

If you can stay up for five more minutes

This is how Dinos learned to roar

A million years ago or more, not sure, lived the dinosaurs

triceratops traipsed, velociraptor soared

The entire world, was a primeval whirl

The mom and dad Dinos relaxed at the triassic pool

And the Dino kids, they went to school

Lil T-rex was big, lil t-rex was strong

But the t-rex, he had, little arms

He was real friendly, he caused no one harm, its true

But he was different, just like you

T-rex went to the yard to play Dino-ball

The other Dinos told him that his arms were too small

They laughed and told him he wasn’t the same

So they didn’t want him in their game

And little T thought he was to blame

So he ran home and he closed his eyes

And he cried

other Dinos crushed him, he had no self pride

They bullied him

And he just wanted to be with them

Lil T-rex did arm stretches every day

But his little arm problem did not go away

The Dino-doc told him thats how he was made its true,

And there was nothing the doctor could do

But every day, the T-rex attempted

to get in the game, but he was rejected

And after a month he just couldn’t take anymore,

And the next day he’d settle the score

When he showed up, the other kids pushed him out

But frustrated, the T-rex held his ground

The other Dinos called him weird

But the T-rex did not run and cry

T-Rex felt that anger bubbling inside

But when he turned around he did not cry

He built up, but when he opened his mouth wide…

he roared…

It was a loud sound no one had heard before

The other kids felt it, were shook to their core

And after that couldn’t ignore him no more

After that sound, on that very day

they were absolutely blown away

And let him play

When he was on defense he’d let out his sound

And the offensive player, so scared, would fall down, on the ground

He became the best Dino-ball player all around

And his roar did become world-renowned

After that day Dinos got to know him

And they realized that he was a great Dino-kid

That different Dino they had denied

Had come up and he had defied

The Dinos grew up, and because of his roar ‘Fm, Eb, Db, Ab,

It made him the king of all the dinosaurs

He always knew that he deserved more

And his family filled with pride C ending thing

And the little t-rex, felt happy inside

And I know what you’re thinking fm, Bb,

You think everyone’s gonna be mean

Because autism makes you different fm, Cm, Db, GbAbDb

Bur different is special

It makes you unique

And thats what they mean when they say special needs

It means that you have something special in you

And your first day tomorrow I know what you’ll do…

And you’ll roar…

Don’t be afraid of what you’re special for.

And those kids that are mean, you’ll just ignore

You are so special, you’re worth much more.

Tomorrow will be a busy day

And I just know you’re gonna do great
